While their list of influences might read like a well stocked record store, it is their sense of focus that has put Zombie Disco Squad on the map. From their early days throwing parties in and around London, to world tours based on web word of mouth to a residency in Berlin's fabled Panorama Bar they have barely stood still since 2006. They may have released on labels as diverse as Dirtybird, Man Recordings and Made To Play but no matter which direction it's flying in from - you'll know a Zombie Disco Squad tune when it hits you.

These fearless Swiss knights have come a long way. Their career so far has been a journey from smaller clubs in Swiss provinces to being signed by the might Made To Play, culminating in tracks like the bent, bruised and banging Kalimba ride of their Calypso EP. It must be the years spent bringing dancefloors beyond the boiling point that has taught them when to throw in a clever twist and when to dumb in down to gut level. Whatever it really was, they will have you move from nodding in approval and banging your head (and back) in the space of a few beats, which might be one of the reasons that people are queueing up all around the round table for remixes these days.
