It's a question too difficult to answer. Just as a DJ I had more than 250 gigs since 2003. About 100 gigs as a member of a couple of bands during the 90s, don't talk about the 80s. I'm 60 now...

Who are you?
Together we are ACT YO AGE
Individually we are the infamous SHIVERS* and the ever prolific PABLO CALAMARI At a sub atomic level we are made of energy.

Where are you from?
We are both Australian, born in Sydney, but share a European heritage - our families coming from Budapest and Sicily.

What do you do?
We are beat makers, club shakers & heart breakers. We are night creatures - we are at home in basements, caverns, crypts or spaceships.

When and where was your best gig?
Wow - its a tough one, so we will give top three:
Pulse Radio Float at Love Parade in 2007 (purely because of the scale and setting - it is v surreal)
Social Club in Paris in Sept 2009
Villa in Berlin in Sept 2009

Who is your all time musical hero?
Another tough one! For us, our tastes are too diverse to offer a singular penultimate hero. We could choose one through each age and genre of music, but the list would be three pages long...

Do you have a favourite place or somewhere where you get the best reaction?
Of course, we love playing in Europe as the tastes are generally more sophisticated and that is close to our hearts. In Australia there are a few awesome clubs: WHAM in Sydney, EMPIRE in Brisbane and ELECTRIC CIRCUS in Adelaide.They are all smallish rooms but the vibes are hedonistic and the crowds are open to almost anything!

Is there an all-time favourite track you wish you'd produced?
Not a track per say, but the chance to work with someone like Miles Davis would have been a privilege.

Which is more appealing to you while djing - to dig out a relatively old track, or play the newest release?
For us, we think the key to a good Dj set is to explore that balance - New and fresh to generate excitement or interest and some well chosen classics to expose the roots of the new.

Which is your personal favourite track that you’ve produced & why?
Producing our forthcoming EP for Southern Fried was exciting and truly rewarding as it was a return to our roots in house music. We feel the tracks are unique and still sounding fresh - even though we have waited 6 months for the release date :)

What do you have going on for the rest of the year?
Shows & touring, developing our AYA Sound System, Ep release, a few big remix projects and plenty of studio time in between!

JACK OFF RECORDS DEBUT RELEASE PARTY!! OCTOBER 1ST BERLIN!!

Elie Eidelman launches new record label Jack Off featuring contemporary house music with a 90's twist. The first release comes from Iron Curtis with a Falko Brocksieper Remix; out on Vinyl via Decks on September 21st with digital release following two weeks later.

Jack Off brings together a combination of two veteran Berlin club nights; Jackson (from John Osborn), and Half Off (From Elie Eidelman).

All 3 nights have hosted the top players in todays dance music scene and introduced some of the most exciting new names to Berlin's night life, as well as holding residencies in Zurich, and having smashed some massive venues around the continent.

In January 2011 there are already two Jack Off Nights planed with Patrice Scott (who will rmx Jack Off 3) at Cookies Berlin on the 20th and a new club in Munich at Bob Beaumont Club on the 21st.

What do you do?
As Dj Beware - I dj in clubs and on radio, I make beats, I put on parties and occasionally I blog.

Where are you from?
I hail from the imagination of a chap named Michael Ho.... and he comes from Hong Kong

What is your musical background?
Piano lessons and school choir as a boy... brief brush with the violin ... self taught guitar...then came the record collecting at around sixteen...djing came 3 years later...

What are the top 5 most played tracks on your iPod?

Valerie Simpson - Silly wasnt I (just beautiful!)
Mtume - Juicy Fruit (I know every muthaf**kin word to that song)
Mr De ft. Greg C. Brown - Sex on the Beach 2000 (like aaaaawwwww yeeeeeaaah!)
Ghostown Djs - My Boo (reminds me of those good ol pool parties in the 90s with loads of honeys that I never got invited to)
Anita Mui - As the years go by like Water (my favourite Canto pop song ever)

Which is the track that you most wished you had produced yourself?
"I want your soul" by AVH. Not because its an AWESOME track(although it is very good), but I remember picking up that Siedah Garret track (the original sample) from the "Fast Forward" soundtrack in 2004 and thinking how great it would be if somebody would make a tune out of the chorus (no joke!)... unfortunately I only started making beats in 2008...

What do you have going on for the rest of 2010?
A whole bunch of re edits cos I always feel that I havent done enough bootlegs and edits as DJ Beware.... a Man Recordings 5 year anniversary mix....maybe a new Beware & Motorpitch EP....moving to Berlin... doing what I love doing and staying healthy!
