It's time to jack... Jackmode kommt wieder ins Crux. Alle 2 Monate bringt die Jackmode Reihe Künster aus dem roster der gleichnamigen Agentur nach München. Nach erlesen Gästen wie Christian Martin, Homework, Oliver $ und J.Phlip, ist es an der Zeit einen drauf zu setzen.

Im März haben wir ZOMBIE DISCO SQUAD (MADE TO PLAY / LONDON) und SOLO (DEADFISH / LONDON) an den Reglern. Letzerer, im Crux ja nicht ganz unbekannt, feiert zudem seinen Ehrentag. Alles in allem fantastische Vorausetzungen für eine großartige Nacht mit der Jackmode crew.

Towards the end of last year, Jackmode began what has now become a continent-wide onslaught of club nights at some of Europe's coolest and most prolific venues - starting with 2 nights at the Counter Culture Project in November & December 2010.

Since then, Jackmode has put together a range of enormous lineups including much of the agency's roster (Zombie Disco Squad, Justin Martin, Round Table Knights, Christian Martin, J. Phlip, Solo, and more) as well as a selection of special guests including the likes of Jesse Rose, Hanne + Lore, Mr Solid Gold + Park Ranger, Midland, and also long term collaborators Pelski (with whom Jackmode will host a stage at this year's much anticipated Gottwood Festival), Jackmode has done nothing short of bringing international dancefloors to the boil.

Counter Culture is delighted to return to Crucifix Lane with the Jackmode and Pelski crew to bring you this very special night.

In room one we are delighted to bring you The Martin Brothers, who, as individuals as well as their sibling collaboration had a MASSIVE 2010 - Justin releasing the likes of his Robot Romance EP, Cactus EP (with Galen), and the Radio One New Essential Tune "Mr Spock" (with Ardalan). Christian also brought his brand of dirty bass to releases such as Underworld's "Always Loved A Film", Chromeo's "Don't Turn The Lights On", and more - As a duo, The Martin Brothers have unleashed the likes of "Duckface", a remix of K.L.A.M's "Funky 4", and their amazing "Steal Drums". It is not often that we are given the pleasure of seeing these two hit the decks side by side, so make sure you are there to witness some history in the making.

Also in room one we are proud to present Nat Self. Nat is perhaps better known for his work as one half of Zombie Disco Squad, but has also had some big releases as a solo artist - including his remix of The Martin Brothers' "Dum", and of Jeff Doubleau's "African Drum Concert", as well as bootleg giveaway "War". The Jackmode night on April 23rd will also be celebrating the release of Nat Self's debut EP on the new Jackmode Music label imprint. The EP, "Party Whistler" will be out at the end of April.

I'm a DJ firstly, and secondly I produce house music.

Where are you from?
Birmingham, UK

What is your New Year's resolution?
It was to get fit again, but its 20 days into the new yr and i still havent started. I definately will soooooon :)

What do you hope to achieve this year?
To continue to make the music i really like, and continue to get support from my faveourite artists. I would love to be able to dedictae my full time to music in 2011, so im going to make a big effort to make sure that happens.

What has been the best moment in your career so far?
Hmmm, there have been a few surprising moments, i think someone posting on youtube my remix of Riva Starr's - I Was Drunk Remix, and it was Derrick Carter playing it in a packed club in Belgium, last year. It kind of put things into perspective.

After glorious years of joy, endless parties, highlights, concerts, amazing DJ-Sets, live-acts and diverse cultural dedications in and around the electronic dance music, the Hive club in Zurich celebrates its 5th birthday on February 4th and 5th 2011.

Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Luna City Express, Johnny D and Round Table Knights will be headlining the anniversary weekend on Friday, with Len Faki, Marcel Fengler and Matias Aguayo amongst the local heroes and residents on Saturday.

With this event the club’s in-house label Hive Audio delivers a compilation with 16 fresh and exclusive tracks by international and Swiss resident artists that all have experienced wonderful times in and with Hive Club. In the lineup there are illustrious names like Steve Bug, Guido Schneider, Pascal Feos, Oliver Koletzki, Einzelkind, Christian Burkhardt, Lexy and Chris Wood & Meat, next to Swiss newcomers Benja & Reto Ardour, as well as established Swiss artists like Animal Trainer, Manon, Azuni, Andrea Oliva and Kellerkind – all of them perfectly representing the club´s and label´s philosophy.
